One of our most popular options is RSFS1 – an electrically operated vertical fire roller shutter that consists of a tough, galvanised steel fire curtain system (75mm slats) and galvanised steel box assembly and guide rails. The 75mm 2 hour fire rated electric operated fire shutter is designed to be a security barrier during normal use and to be closed automatically during a test or an emergency situation. In the event of receiving a fire alarm signal, the fire shutter will activate and perform a powered descent to create a fire resistant barrier.
This fire shutter door product is tested and approved to BS476: Part 22: 1987 and BS EN 1634-1: 2008 and fitted with a fire interface panel to connect to the fire alarm system. It is also fitted with a battery back up to enable normal operation in the event of a mains power failure
